BOLSOVER: SSAFA T-shirts and running vests donated to people in need

In common with all the SSAFA Divisions and Branches throughout the country, the Bolsover Division of the Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen’s Families Association, providing Help for serving and former service personnel and their families, now has a new Logo. It is still ‘SSAFA’ but it is written in lower case letters: ssafa.

‘New ssafa’ will continue to operate as before to help meet the growing need for support for individuals and families living in the District of Bolsover.

In addition, the Bolsover Divisional Secretary, Peter Bower, has obtained all the remaining SSAFA-logo T-shirts and running vests in a range of sizes, from SSAFA Headquarters in London. These items have now been donated to the Salvation Army, to the Christian Centre in Shirebrook, to the Bolsover Boxing Club at Carr Vale, to the Freedom Cafe and Food Bank at the Hill Top Methodist Church in Bolsover, and to Church Army Projects for the Homeless. All of the above mentioned organisations have redistributed the items free of charge to Bolsover people in need.
