Bid to build 98 new homes in Heanor
A bid to build 98 new homes on three vacant paddocks near to the heart of Heanor, has been submitted to Amber Valley Borough Council (AVBC).
Developers Wheeldon Brothers Ltd want to build on 3.4 hectares of what is described as “residential amenity land” about 350m east of the Market Place.
The site off Hands Road is vacant grassland separated by mature hedges, including outgrown trees, and bounded by Howitt Street, Starthe Bank and Holbrook Street. Around 300 households were leafleted and the developers responded to concerns in their access statement. For more see next week’s edition.
