BARLBOROUGH: School photos from 1961 to 1964 go on show

Commencing Tuesday, April 2, the spring exhibition at Barlbrough Heritage Centre will be a display of Barlborough Primary School photographs of the classes of 1961 through to 1964.

Commencing Tuesday, April 2, the spring exhibition at Barlbrough Heritage Centre will be a display of Barlborough Primary School photographs of the classes of 1961 through to 1964.

These named photographs have been hidden undisturbed in a loft for almost 50 years. Copies will be available to purchase, funds going towards the running of the centre.

Those who attend the exhibitions will be able to sit and browse in the Atkin room which is dedicated to the history of education in Barlborough going back to the earliest Rodes School which was built around 1743.

The opening times of the centre are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8.30am till 2pm, plus Saturdays, 10am till 1pm.
