It will be the last show for the senior girls before they head off to university, many of them have been training with the principal, Jill Ferguson, since the age of three.

Jill said: “We are a rural I.D.T.A theatre school and over the years many of our pupils have gone on to take their dance and drama studies further, some going into the dance and theatre professions.

“I set up the school in 1988, after a professional career in dance for many years. It was first Winster Theatre School and then I moved to Bakewell premises, where some of the Winster pupils followed.”

The production of Dance Bites! starts at the Pomegranate at 7pm. Tickets cost £11 and £10 (child and senior citizen).
