Bakewell man charged with driving offences

A man has been charged in connection with driving offences in Bakewell.

At around 12.20am on Friday, September 5, a motorist was stopped by police after reports that a car was allegedly being driven erratically in Rutland Square, Bakewell.

He was arrested after allegedly failing to provide police with a valid driving licence or insurance policy.

Kevon Mohammed, 25, of Keldregate, Huddersfield has now been charged with driving offences and obstructing police.

He will appear at North East Derbyshire and Dales Magistrates’ Court today (Friday, September 5).
