Bakewell Choral Society puts on show

A choral society will be delighting an audience with a classical music concert.

The Bakewell Choral Society, conducted by Alan Eost, will be performing Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, together with a selection of madrigals, on Saturday, July 5, at 7.30pm in Lady Manners School, Bakewell.

The soloists will be Debra Morley (soprano), Thom Meredith (baritone) and Ben Sawyer (countertenor).

They will be accompanied by concert pianists, Gillian Bithel and Beate Toyka

Tickets cost £10 and are available from Bakewell Bookshop, choir members, on the door or by post from Mrs E. Butcher, The Gabled House, South Church Street, Bakewell DE45 1FD. Accompanied children and students are free.
