Axe-man arrested in Chesterfield
A man found wandering around with an axe in Chesterfield town centre has been arrested.
Derbyshire police say they responded to reports that the 30-year-old man was seen in the vicinity of Broad Pavement at around 6.20pm on Tuesday.
A police spokesman said “The man was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon and affray. He was released under investigation.”
