award honours retained firefighters' service to community
Community champions who put their lives on the line to save others have been honoured.
Crich retained firefighters were presented with a Community Award by David Billyeald, who is chairman of Crich Area Community News.
The annual award is made to those who have made a considerable contribution to the life of the parish over many years. The retained firemen have done this in abundance.
