Association tee off at golf day

The Disabled Golf Association (DGA) made its first visit to the excellent Shirland Golf Club last month. John Riordan, co-ordinator for the north region, along with 15 players, teed off at 11.30am, and the first four were in five hours later, after completing a very challenging course.

A spokesman for the DGA said: “All had a great day, thanks to the members for their support.”
