Ascot races inspire Chesterfield recruitment agency's fundraising for The Air Ambulance Service

The company hosted a “Night at the Races” at the Casa Hotel where guests wore their best outfits to comply with an Ascot dress code.

Activites included racing, an auction, raffles, a competition for the best hat, food and free flowing prosecco.

Suzanne Lucas, director of the agency, said: “We raised £821 so thank you to everyone that came along and supported us. It was a fun filled night and we’re thrilled with the result.”

Fellow director Kirsty Gascoigne said: “The Air Ambulance Service rescue people in emergency situations with incredible response times and fly critically ill children between specialist care providers or fly to children who are too poorly to fly themselves, what an amazing charity to support.”
