The ten artists exhibition is a fundraiser for Samaritans. This year will be the 20th annual show and to date it has raised £29,000 for the charity. It is hoped that this year will see enough money raised to top it up a whopping £30,000.
Ten well-known local artists are invited to submit ten new paintings, or sculptures which creates a superb and vibrant show.
All the artists are very active in their field and finding ten new works every year is a challenge. The organiser, and a participant, is Isabel Blincow, who has been involved from the start, 20 years ago.
The event will take place at Baslow Village Hall, on Saturday, October 22 and 23, from 10am to 5pm both days,
Admission is £1 per person which will be donated to the charity.
The participating artists are Geoff kersey, Brian Smith, Marion Anniss, Jason Heppenstall, Judy Day and her daughter Helen, Lyn Littlewood, Bryn Hughes, Gerry Kersey and Isabel Blincow, pictured with a painting of Stanage Edge in the Peak District.
