Arsonist sentenced after disorder on Chesterfield buses

A man has been given a suspended prison sentence for two public order offences and one arson offence in the Chesterfield area.

Josh Healey, 21, who lived at Racecourse Road at the time of the incident of arson, pleaded guilty during the hearing at Chesterfield Justice Centre on Tuesday, May 3.

Mr Healey was charged with public order offence in March following incidents on buses on Beetwell Street and Cordwell Avenue.

The charge of arson related to an industrial bin outside a business on Sheepbridge Lane.

Magistrates sentenced Mr Healey to 16 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, and fined him £675.
