Arson probe after car set on fire outside Chesterfield house

Police are investigating after a car was deliberately set on fire outside a house in Chesterfield last night.

Emergency services were called to an address on Church Lane, Calow, at around 9pm after the car was set alight.

The fire service put out the fire and no one was injured.

Police believe the fire was started deliberately and are treating it as arson.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area around the time of the fire.
