Apprentice star to judge Ashgate Hospice’s Mr Heart Throb

James, 26 from Chesterfield, who made it to week eight of the BBC tv show, will be on the judging panel for the fun pageant, which will see six contestants battle it out in various fun categories to be crowned this year’s Mr Heart Throb.

Charlotte Gratton, Events Fundraiser at the hospice, said, “We are really excited to have James on our judging panel for Mr Heart Throb.

“It’s going to be a great night and we hope we can raise a lot of money to go towards the care we provide to local people at the hospice, in hospitals and in patients’ homes.”

The competition will take place in four rounds: Dream Job, Mr Sporty, Mr Talent and Mr Movie Star.

There will be a winner for each category, a prize for the contestant who raises the most money and an overall winner who will become the next Mr Heart Throb 2015.

The competition, taking place from 7.30pm, on Friday, February 13, at the Proact Stadium in Chesterfield.

James will be joined on the judging panel by current Miss Chesterfield Stephanie Hill, Chesterfield Netball Club Amy Revell and Ashgate Hospice’s Chief Executive Lucy Nickson.

Ashgate Hospicecare provides specialist palliative and end of life care to local people and their families across North Derbyshire and the High Peak and Dales.

The hospice has a 21-bed inpatient unit, 16-place day unit and provides a range of therapy and support services on site.

Ashgate also provides a wide range of community-based care and support services for people with life limiting illnesses and their families. It costs £6.8m each year to runAshgate Hospicecare.

It receives an NHS grant of £2.5m but has to raise a further £4.3m to ensure these vital services continue to be provided.
