Alfreton firefighters extinguish out of control log blaze
Firefighters extinguished a blaze in a log burner which spread to a pile of logs at a property in Alfreton.
The fire was discovered at the property on Nottingham Road, Alfreton, about 1.20pm, today, Sunday, January 17.
A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said: “The fire spread to a pile of logs by the side of a fireplace.”
Alfreton firefighters put out the blaze and made the area property within half-an-hour.
