The Rotary Club of Alfreton held its annual Easter party for the visually impaired at the Friendship Hall in Alfreton.

In spite of inclement weather, 50 local people with sight problems were entertained to an afternoon of songs and quizzes with music provided by Rtn John North and soloist Janice Walker.

President Clair Nightingale and the members of the Inner Wheel Club of Alfreton served sandwiches, cakes and trifles with an Easter egg to finish.

On behalf of the Rotary Club of Alfreton, president Colin Fox thanked everyone for their help especially Sight Support Derbyshire and the Amber Valley Stroke Club.
