Air weapon aparently used to damage CCTV camera in Ironville

At about 11am on Sunday, vandals damaged a CCTV camera at JB Transport on Old Stone Bridge.

Officers believe the damage could have been caused by an air weapon as three holes were found in the dome covering the CCTV unit with a lead pellet found inside.

A car was seen parking up outside the premises on another CCTV unit a few minutes before the incident and it stayed for about 15 minutes after the damage was caused.
