89-year-old woman is victim of sneak-in burglary

Sneak-in burglars have stolen items from the home of an 89-year-old woman in Chesterfield.

At about 4.50pm on Thursday November 3, a man sneaked into the woman's home on Hazel Drive in Walton. He searched her bedroom and grabbed her handbag while she was watching television in her living room.

Her passport, cash, bank card and cheque book were stolen. Jewellery was also taken from her bedroom.

The only description the victim can give is that the burglar was white and wearing dark clothing.
