The announcement was made at the annual Celebrate Chesterfield event which was attended by 250 of the town’s business leaders when it was revealed that the move follows the centralisation of the majority of the Post Office’s internal contact centre.

So far 45 of the 160 roles have been centralised, at the Future Walk offices on West Bars, with additional jobs expected in the near future.
