World Cup song rocks on YouTube

Three talented performers from near Ridgeway have been getting into the Samba spirit after they composed a fantastic England football team song for the World Cup.

Steve and Jack Bocca, of The Bocca Brothers, and drummer Dan Haynes are pushing the team to success in Rio in a fortnight’s time on June 12 with an anthem that they hope fans will be chanting from the stands.

The song “Boys in Brazil 2014, England World Cup Anthem” is already attracting hits on YouTube by typing in Bocca Brothers via http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=U8HRVIMhcpA and it is proving very popular.

Jack said: “We wanted to show our support in the most personal way possible and we hope the fans will chant out our song in Brazil and drown out the beat of the Brazil’s Samba drums.”

The two experienced singer-guitarists are big Indie music fans and Indie tribute band performers and their England song packs a lot of punch with a strong bass line and verse that fans can pick up.

Steve said: “Boys in Brazil captures England’s die-hard spirit and we hope the lads will be packing it with their sun cream for Rio.”
