Vinyl DJs put funk in your soul

Check out the vinyl sounds of DJ duo the Brothers Boogaloo who bring their funk and soul night to the Fishpond, Matlock Bath, for the first time, on Saturday, January 30.

The Derbyshire-based DJ duo comprises Lester Wright and Lee Anthony Boden.

Lester said: “We’re going to play the souliest soul under the sun and the funkiest funk from beyond the stars.”

Catch a taste of what will be in store on the night by tuning into Matlock’s independent station Radio Free Smedley St tomorrow (Friday, January 29) at 8.30pm where the Brothers Boogaloo will lend their talents to an hour-long programme.

The DJs are aiming to run their free-to-enter Eclectic Boogaloo night at The Fishpond on a regular basis.
