There's a host of events in Buxton's arts venues for all to enjoy over the next seven evenings.

Friday night fun is on offer tomorrow at the Opera House for those who like musicals – Broadway and Beyond brings leading West End stars to the stage, for an evening of hits.

Over in the Pavilion Arts Centre that night, renowned actress Ava Hunt will perform Acting Alone, her one woman play which won acclaim at last year’s Buxton Festival Fringe. Inspired by her visit to Tel Aviv, she asks can one person really make a difference?

Saturday at the Opera House will see the original rock ‘n’ roll star Joe Brown play all the hits with his five-piece band.

In the arts centre Stephen K Amos will perform his new show Laughter Master.

Geordie comic Tony Jameson brings his stand-up to the venue the following night. Entitled Football Manager Ruined my Life, his show features stories of a young man in a middle-age body.

Rumours of Fleetwood Mac is set to delight Mac fans on Tuesday, January 26 and King of Pop tribute artist Navi shares Michael Jackson hits on Thursday, January 28.
