A spokesman from VDBM said: “Buxton is a popular historic spa and tourist town in the Peak District.

“The property forms part of the original baths building which itself adjoins The Crescent. This is undergoing refurbishment to become a luxury hotel.

“The property is in a part of the town popular with restaurants, cafes and specialist shops.”

The shop also joins to the former Buxton Thermal Baths, now the Cavendish Arcade.
