The House of Commons Library recently published data revealing the median, or middle, house price for each area of the borough to provide an indicator of affordability.
The information shows a wide fluctuation in prices, starting from £120,000 in New Whittington, Hollingwood and Barrow Hill up to £255,000 in Brookside and Walton.
Here are the median prices for homes from September 2020, when the Chesterfield constituency average was £160,000.
