Guitar hero's tribute to Motorhead pal

Legendary guitar hero Phil Campbell has chosen a heavy metal festival in Derbyshire as the launchpad for his new tour.

Phil, lead guitarist in Motorhead for 28 years, will perform at Bloodstock at Catton Hall, Walton on Trent, on August 11, where he will honour the memory of his bandmate and pal Lemmy.

He performs as part of Phil Campbell’s All Starr Band which reveals the guitarist in an energising new light, delivering a set made up of Lemmy’s numbers and other classics including Cat Scratch Fever, Jumpin’ Jack Flash and with covers of Phil’s favourite bands including Black Sabbath.
