Chesterfield venues reveal plans to reopen for diners as lockdown restrictions ease

Hotels in and around Chesterfield are gearing up to welcome customers back when outdoor hospitality is allowed to restart.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has revealed his roadmap out of lockdown, providing a series of key tests are met, such as falling coronavirus rates.

The phased reopening of the country includes a number of key dates, with outdoor hospitality set to reopen from Monday, April 12.

The Government says that, provisionally from April 12, “hospitality venues can serve people outdoors only”.

It says: “There will be no need for customers to order a substantial meal with alcohol, and no curfew – although customers must order, eat and drink while seated.”

And venues in and around Chesterfield, including Brampton Manor, Twin Oaks Hotel and more are planning to take advantage and reopen to customers.
