DFacto go acoustic for first time in eight years

One of Derbyshire's most popular bands is to embark on a new phase of their

career with a first all acoustic performance.

Fronted by the voice of Laura Beresford, DFacto have established a reputation over the past eight years as providers of high energy pop and rock, torch songs and ballads.

They will be performing an acoustic gig at the Chesterfield Arms, Newbold, on Sunday, July 31, staring at 4pm,

The band will set new and classic material to the custom made “Cajon” drum and blues harmonica played by Andy Lawton, guitar from James Stock and acoustic double bass played by Bunny.

DFacto cover the best of classic artists such as Green Day, Stereophonics, Pink, Oasis, Kings of Leon, Amy Winehouse, Bryan Adams,

Blondie and many others.

Laura’s voice captures the full range of emotion from the repertoire of contemporary superstar Adele including the emerging standards Set Fire to the Rain, Rolling in the Deep and Someone Like You.

The band are always open to covering new material including recent hits from Bruno Mars, Olly Murs and Sam Smith.

With constant gigging to a wide variety of audiences DFacto have become staples at local festivals and benefit concerts.
