New murder mystery book charts 90s rave explosion in Sheffield

Inspired by the explosion of the UK rave scene between 1988 and 1992 a new whodunit book will have readers reaching for their glow sticks and magnifying glasses too.

Don't Worry Everything Is Going To Be Amazing by Billy Moran tells the story of a man whose obsession with TV detectives dates back to a tragic mystery from his early 90s raving days.

Author Billy, who is an award-winning television writer and is one of the creative genius’s behind children show Horrible Histories, said: “Being a kid in the 70s and 80s wasn’t so bad, but by 1988 there was a lot of frustration – when rave hit, many of us felt a part of something for the first time.
