Retro pictures show how Chesterfield's Chatsworth Road and Brampton have changed over the years

So much has changed in Chesterfield down the years, as these images from the Brampton area of the town show.

Famous for its Brampton Mile pubs and Chatsworth Road shops, here’s how the area used to look in days gone by.

The Red Lion is one of a number of pubs on the Brampton Mile no longer with us. Pub goers can still enjoy a drink at the building now though, after it was relaunched as the Crafty Dog.
