Chesterfield Borough Council says due to the lockdown it has taken the ‘difficult decision to cancel the Christmas Lights Switch On, however it will return in 2021’.
So to cheer you all up we have dug out some pictures from our archive going all the way back to 2000 – whose faces can you spot in these pictures showcasing a decade of light switch on events?
