The latest Covid infection rates for every district in Chesterfield as schools set to return

The number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in every area of Chesterfield are revealed in the latest report by Derbyshire County Council.

County Hall’s weekly Covid-19 Surveillance Report covers the seven-day period up to February 26.

It comes as the majority of children prepare to return to school on Monday, March 8 – and public health officials are urging people to continue following the rules.

Dean Wallace, Derbyshire’s director of public health, said: “Following Government rules and guidelines is making a real difference and it’s so important we all carry on doing all we can.

“That means abiding by the national lockdown and following the basics that we are more than familiar with now – hands, face, space."
