No new Covid-19 fatalities at Chesterfield Royal Hospital for sixth day in a row

The latest NHS England statistics show there have been no new Covid-19 related fatalities at Chesterfield Royal Hospital for the last six days.

NHS England’s figures show how many people have died in hospital trusts across the country in the last 24 hours, this excludes those who have lost their lives after testing positive for the virus in care homes and the wider community.

There have been 128 total coronavirus deaths at Chesterfield Royal Hospital but no new fatalities have been confirmed for nearly a week.

In England a further 27 people have been confirmed to have died from Covid-19 in hospitals in the country, during the last 24 hour reporting period.

This brings the total number of coronavirus fatalities in England up to 27,953.
