Statistics from NHS England this afternoon (Monday June 29) show that there have been no new Covid-19 related fatalities at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

The total number of people who have lost their lives to coronavirus at the Derbyshire hospital still stands at 130.

Across England, a further 19 people have died due to Covid-19, which brings the total number of virus related fatalities in hospitals in the country up to 28,671.

Wales reported an additional three people have lost their lives in hospitals after contracting the disease.

Figures from NHS England show that in Northern Ireland, one more person has died from coronavirus, while Scotland has reported no new Covid-19 deaths for the fourth day in a row.
