Derbyshire farm shop and garden centre closes to protect staff from coronavirus
A farm shop and garden centre near Clowne has closed over fears that some of its elderly staff may be vulnerable to coronavirus.

The Barn at Morefruita Farm announced its closure as a precautionary measure to protect staff.
A statement said: “We work and live together running the family business, but three of the members of our family are in their late 70s and 80s and another member has underlying health conditions.“Due to the growing increase in the numbers of people with the Coronavirus and the amount of people we come into contact with on a daily basis and the government guidelines for the elderly to isolate themselves we have today made the decision to close for a few weeks to see how the situation unfolds.“We have not made this decision lightly.
“We feel that we cannot put the health off the elderly members of our family at risk by staying open.”
