Covid-19: No new fatalities at hospitals in Chesterfield

There have been no new virus related deaths at hospitals in Chesterfield according to the latest statistics from NHS England released this afternoon (Thursday, July 9).

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust have reported no more coronavirus patient deaths in their care during the last 24 hour reporting period.

So far, 131 people have lost their lives to the disease while being treated in Chesterfield hospitals.

Across England, a further 22 people are confirmed to have died from Covid-19 in hospitals within the most recent reporting period.

This brings the total number of reported virus deaths in hospitals across England up to 28,991. Patients were aged between 53 and 94 years old and one person had no known underlying health conditions.
