Covid-19 death toll rises at Chesterfield Royal Hospital

Another coronavirus patient has died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, taking the Covid-19 death toll there to 136.

The death was among 82 announced by NHS England today, Friday, October 16.

The total number of confirmed reported deaths at hospitals in England now stands at 30,825.

That does not include deaths in care homes and in the community.

The latest patients to die were aged between 35 and 97 years old, with all except eight, aged between 49 and 94, having known underlying health conditions.
