Another Covid-19 patient died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital

Another patient has died with coronavirus at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, the NHS has confirmed this afternoon.

A total of 116 people have now passed away at the Royal after testing positive for the virus.

Government data shows there are currently 2,223 confirmed cases of Covid-19 across Derbyshire – 1,643 in Derbyshire county and 574 in Derby city.

In UK hospital, care homes and the wider community, a total of 36,675 people are reported to have died after contracting coronavirus.
