Another coronavirus death announced by Chesterfield Royal Hospital

Another patient has died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital after testing positive for Covid-19, according to the latest NHS England figures released this afternoon.

In total, 124 people have sadly died with the virus at the Royal.

The latest Government data shows there are now 2,308 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Derbyshire – 1,716 in Derbyshire county and 592 in Derby city.

In hospitals, care homes and the wider community across the UK, a total of 39,904 people have died after testing positive for Covid-19.
