At the conclusion of the project, successful candidates will end up with a job in IT.

Rob Pearson, managing director of PepperIT, said: “TechFactor is all about getting the most enthusiastic people at all levels.

“We’re looking for apprentice programmers and support personnel all the way up to senior account managers and IT engineers, but unlike the X Factor Simon Cowell won’t be on the panel.”

Due to continued expansion, as well as the opening of regional offices, the two businesses have up to eight employment positions between them to offer talented jobseekers.

The two firms are looking for people with relevant skill sets at all levels of the IT industry.

They claim to be especially committed to developing new talent via the apprenticeship scheme.

David Hall, of EasyWebStore, added: “We’re looking for that can–do attitude, we want people that have that extra factor so they will continue the excellent customer service philosophies that EasyWebstore and PepperIT currently deliver.”

To apply for the Tech Factor scheme, candidates are asked to visit the website www.techfactor.info and fill in the form.

Closing date for applications is November 7.

Successful candidates will receive an interview pack with final heats taking place in Chesterfield, Mansfield, Derby and Nottingham in November.
