The event, held at Derby County Cricket Club, celebrated the success of local learners as part of National Apprenticeship Week – a nationwide event designed to celebrate apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy.

The successful apprentices – whose apprenticeships included hospitality, supervision and leadership and housekeeping – received their certificates from Gail Naylor-Kelly, HIT area manager for Derbyshire, and Mike Worley, HIT’s director of hospitality and catering.
