Young soloist teams up with NSO

Three popular classics will be performed by Nottingham Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, May 16, in their latest concert.

The performance takes place from 7.30pm at Nottingham’s Albert Hall and will be conducted by Derek Williams.

The programme features Borodin’s Prince Igor Overture, Bruch’s Violin Concerto No 1 and Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony.

The soloist in the concerto is 12-year-old Edward Tomanek, a pupil at King’s College School in Cambridge.
