Young Opera Venture brings The Magic Flute to Derbyshire

An innovative company is to present The Magic Flute in Derbyshire.

Young Opera Venture was set up to take performances to venues which have little access to opera and to give young singers their first professional experience.

The company will bring Mozart’s masterpiece to Chesterfield’s Pomegranate Theatre on October 20.

This new production of The Magic Flute is presented in an English translation and combines comedy, pantomime, love story, fantasy and philosophy.
