A regular contributor to the Wirksworth Festival, Jagged Fence Productions will stage their latest work in The Northern Light Cinema in the town from December 9-13.

Emily said: “Dusa, Fish, Stas and Vi is about four friends living together. The girls are preparing for Christmas in the flat....the play highlights the delirious joy as well as the nostalgia the season brings - the merriment and fun of now, mixed with memories of those loved and lost.

“The play is set in a living room so the intimate space, domestic decor and soft furnishings make it the perfect setting, we want the audience to feel immersed in the world of the play and we will use the cinema’s retro features to recreate the 70s atmosphere.

“The original production in 1976 starred Brigit Forsyth (The Likely Lads) and Diane Fletcher and became a cult classic selling out a three-month run and receiving acclaimed reviews.”
