TV comedians spread laughter in town

Television comedians Nathan Caton and Jack Carroll are bringing their live shows to north Derbyshire.

The pair will perform at the Winding Wheel, Chesterfield, on November 26, in a show organised by the town’s longest-running comedy club, Spotlight.

Nathan’s television credits include Live at the Apollo and Mock the Week. He had his own sketch show on Comedy Central which earned him an award from Broadcast magazine for his writing.

Jack was runner-up in Britain’s Got Talent in 2013 and was described as ‘comedy genius’ by David Walliams. He has since been seen on Sunday Night At The Palladium, Trollied and The One Show among others. Jack, whose cerebral palsy is often the subject of his act, was awarded a Pride of Britain Award in 2012 in the “Teenager of Courage” category.

He opened for Jason Manford at three of his tour shows in 2010 as well as performing with him in 2013, opening Jason’s tour show First World Problems at London’s Hammersmith Apollo. Jack has performed at various clubs and live events across the country, cementing his place on the national comedy circuit.
