Top ensemble performs in Duffield

Music at Duffield presents the Innovation Chamber Ensemble, performing at The Ecclesbourne School in Duffield on Saturday, October 17, at 7.30pm.

The programme features Richard Strauss’s Sextet from Capriccio Op. 8, Mozart’s Grande Sestetto Concertante and Dvorak’s Sextet in A, Op. 48.

The Innovation Chamber Ensemble was formed in 2002 by members of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

They have performed in many of the UK’s leading venues and festivals.

ICE have made a number of recordings on the Somm label. The latest of these was released in the autumn of 2014 of British Piano Concertos with the pianist Mark Bebbington.
