Sir Richard FitzHerbert, who lives at Tissington Hall with his wife Fiona and their family, said: ““I look forward to welcoming visitors to the Hall this summer to see how our family has let the house evolve over the years. The Hall, gardens and setting within this special village offer a wonderful way to spend summer, here at Tissington.”

The FitzHerberts are very much involved in village life which has many attractions including the ancient Tissington church with its Norman origins, the award-winning Herbert’s Fine English Tearooms, a vintage sweet shop, an internationally-renowned candle maker, a traditional butcher and a plant and flower centre.

Tours of Tissington Hall offer a perfect excuse to come and spend a full day in the village; enjoying the walks, businesses, sights and sounds of this beautiful and ancient Peak District village.
