See Frayn’s comedy suite in Tideswell

A play about modern day living and frustration is coming to Tideswell from November 27-29.

Tideswell Community Players present Michael Frayn’s Alarms and Excursions, a suite of short comedy plays which examine the difficulties modern technology has added to life, with, for the audience at least, hilarious results.

The seven pieces to be found in Alarms And Excursions range from a dinner party doomed to failure as, one-by-one, labour-saving devices become hostile, to a tongue-in-cheek revisiting of the days before we all had mobile phones, when communication between those on the move could become fraught with difficulty.
