Musical group issues an invite to local men

If you are man who likes to sing or dance or act - or all of the above - then Belper Musical Theatre would like to hear from you.

A great opportunity for you to do all of those things could be just around the corner.

The society will be performing the fantastic Cole Porter musical Kiss Me, Kate next February (10-14) and is on the hunt for men to boost their numbers.

Belper Musical Theatre is holding an Introduction to Kiss Me, Kate open evening tonight (Wednesday, October 1) at Strutts Community Centre in Belper at 7.30pm.

Sarah Stone, chairman of the company, said of the group: “Not only do we have a vast array of talent in this company, but it is a really friendly group of people and as well as working hard we have a lot of fun!”

Belper Musical Theatre rehearses on Wednesday evenings and Sundays (primarily for principals and dancers) at Strutts Community Centre and performs at Belper Community Theatre, Belper School.

Interested gentlemen are encouraged to come along tonight, where they will be sure of a warm welcome.
