Principals Judith and Rachel Littlewood said: “We are so proud of the girls as they had no rehearsal and were just amazing.”

Routines choreographed by Rachel Littlewood and Karen Banez included the famous Chesterfield High Kicking Showgirls who have performed all over the UK and will also be performing this coming week (April 14-19) at the Pomegranate Theatre, Chesterfield.

The Love 2 Dance presentation will showcase the senior school talent whilst giving all pupils from the juniors treading the boards for the first time the chance to take part in a non-stop entertainment packed evening of song and dance.

The Academy of Dance has had a whirlwind year of success this year as principal Rachel Littlewood has been invited to join the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) examination panel as one of the youngest examiners in the association.
