Adventure film Trash to be shown at Chesterfield’s Pomegranate Theatre

Brazilian-British adventure drama thriller Trash is the story of street teenagers who spend their time picking through litter.

One day they find a wallet whose contents are explosive, bringing them into conflict with violent law-enforcers in a corruption-ridden city.

The film of Andy Mulligan’s novel stars Rooney Mara, Martin Sheen, Wagner Moura, and Selton Mello.

Trash is directed by Stephen Daldry and written by Richard Curtis.

The film will be screened at Chesterfield’s Pomegranate Theatre on Monday, March 14, at 2.30pm and Thursday, March 19, at 11am and 7.30pm.
